Product and innovation
In YESIF, «Product and innovation» is a department of AI agents whose mission is to decide what to improve in the offering based on users, competitors and the business.
Like every YESIF department, it has a coordinator, a council of 4 roles (constraints and finance, context, competitors and role models, goals) plus a synthesis, specialists that work in parallel waves, and routines on a schedule. Only sending, publishing, deleting, spending and payments wait for a person's «Approve».

User researchproposal
Synthesizes interviews, surveys and user comments into recurring needs, motivations and pain points with cited evidence. Proposes how to tag and log feedback so Product processes it consistently.
Product discoveryanalysis
Frames product problems and opportunities from user synthesis, usage data and business goals, with written, testable value hypotheses. Separates symptoms from root causes before solutions are proposed.
Competitive analysisanalysis
Compares competitors' capabilities, pricing and value propositions using only verifiable public information, flagging gaps and differentiators of our own offer. Discards unsourced claims.
Requirements definitionproposal
Drafts requirements, user stories and measurable acceptance criteria for approved improvements, including edge cases and regulatory requirements flagged for expert validation. Proposes recording them in the catalog and project management.
Roadmap prioritizationproposal
Proposes roadmap order by scoring initiatives on goal impact, user evidence, effort and risk, stating explicitly what is deferred and why. Re-sequences on goal deviations or capacity changes.
Experience designproposal
Prepares user flows, wireframes and prototypes for prioritized improvements, applying usability and accessibility principles and existing design assets. Proposes concrete design changes to test with users.
Experimentationproposal
Designs product experiments with hypotheses, variants, primary metric, sample size and duration, and pre-set decision criteria. Proposes test setup and checks whether conclusions are supported by the data.
Lifecycle managementproposal
Monitors the lifecycle of products, plans and features to detect candidates for retirement, renewal or relaunch based on usage, margin and satisfaction. Proposes catalog status changes and transition notices for affected customers.
Innovation feasibilityanalysis
Compares cost, effort, technical and third-party dependencies and risks of each candidate innovation against expected return, stating assumptions and sensitivity. Flags infeasible initiatives or those requiring expert validation.
Product analyticsproposal
Evaluates adoption, usage retention and outcomes of new features and products against set targets, explaining deviations by segment and funnel. Detects instrumentation gaps and proposes missing tracking events.
Customer feedback managementproposal
Collects feedback, requests, surveys and NPS from every channel (email, support, reviews) and groups them into actionable themes with volume and severity. Proposes changes to feedback capture when channels are uncovered or themes are unquantified.
Validation and product-market fitproposal
Designs MVPs and validation tests with explicit hypotheses and success criteria. Measures product-market fit signals such as cohort retention and the Sean Ellis survey (very disappointed).
Market and trend analystanalysis
Estimates TAM/SAM/SOM with cited sources and monitors technology and market trends that open opportunities for the offer. Proposes no operational changes: summarizes signals and their relevance to the business.
Product strategy and visionproposal
Defines product vision, strategy and OKRs aligned with business goals and real capabilities. Proposes changes of focus in the offer when OKRs deviate or the market shifts.
Usability and accessibilityproposal
Plans usability tests and audits accessibility against WCAG, the European Accessibility Act and ADA. Proposes design fixes prioritized by severity and legal risk.
Visual UI and design systemproposal
Creates and maintains the visual interface and component system (tokens, patterns, guidelines) consistent with the brand. Proposes new components and the removal of inconsistent variants.
Product instrumentation and metricsproposal
Defines the tracking plan, event taxonomy and north star metric so product analytics is reliable. Detects missing, duplicated or mislabelled events and proposes fixes.
Product-led growth and onboardingproposal
Optimizes in-product activation, onboarding, virality and free-to-paid conversion. Locates funnel friction and proposes flow changes, messaging and growth experiments.
Pricing and packagingproposal
Designs plans, tiers, value metrics and price tests for the product, checking margins and consistency with discounts and commercial policy. Proposes packaging and pricing changes in the catalog.
Technical feasibilityanalysis
Assesses the technical feasibility of each proposal: architecture, build vs buy, technical debt, effort and AI use. Issues a risk and alternatives opinion without changing operational data.
Product launch managerproposal
Plans product launches: key messages, release notes, calendar and sales and support enablement. Proposes launch content and the catalog and design adjustments required to publish.
Product compliance and privacy by designanalysis
Verifies regulatory and privacy-by-design requirements (GDPR, CCPA, CE marking, AI Act, sector regulation) in every improvement before delivery. Flags blockers and requirements that human experts must validate.
R&D funding and IP protectionanalysis
Identifies R&D funding and deductions (CDTI, tax deductions, R&D tax credit, SBIR) applicable to projects and assesses how to protect innovations through patents or trade secrets. Summarises requirements, deadlines and documentation for human validation.
Product operationsproposal
Coordinates the move from roadmap to delivery: sprints, dependencies, releases and tracking of measured results after each improvement. Proposes reordering or closing deliveries when there are blockers, delays or unmeasured results.
